Someone tried to blow up Puchong… but the bomb failed to work… :-)

Several men found an active World War II bomb while jogging near a construction site in Taman Damai Utama, near the Kinrara Golf Club in Puchong.

The men said they were jogging past the area at 7pm on Saturday when they noticed an odd-shaped metal object sticking out of the ground.

The joggers said they then brought three of their friends to the site yesterday to confirm that the object was indeed a bomb before alerting the police.

A police bomb disposal unit was later dispatched to the scene to destroy it at 11.45am.

Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Zainal Rashid Abu Bakar said the bomb shell had been identified it as a “MK 15” and measured 45.72cm long.
